Field Expeditions

Number of Field expeditions to the forests of Central, Peninsular India and high altitude near glacier sites of Western Himalaya to collect tree-ring samples. With this extensive field expeditions good network of tree-ring data have been established for further dendroclimatic studies.

Training Programme on Dendroclimatology and Climate Change

On request of Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE), Deheradun, one week training programme were organized during 7-12 December, 2009 on “Dendroclimatology and Climate Change” for the scientists in various forest research Institutes in India.
